The primary goal of this course is to provide students (junior, senior, and graduate students) basic concepts and applications of separation science. The teaching materials are from Journals such as Analytical Chemistry, Electrophoresis, J. Chromatography A, and related books. This course will focus on introduction to separation, extraction, sample preparation, concepts of chromatography, liquid chromatography,capillary electrophoresis, as well as detectors and interfaces.
